Melody | Square Toe Mary Jane Flats

I received these in the leopard print, and the fuzzy texture gives them such a fun, unique look! I especially love the gold buckle detail. They are absolutely adorable and can easily be dressed up or down.

I ordered my usual size 7½, but unfortunately, these run about a half size too large for me and feel a little wider than expected. The heel also comes up slightly higher than I'm used to. The company advertises that they can be worn with the heel folded down in a mule style which makes them versatile, and that is actually the most comfortable way for me to wear them. Personally, I don't think they look quite as natural worn that way, but it works for comfort.

The insole has a small amount of padding, although there isn't much arch support. The Mary Jane strap is adjustable, which is a nice feature and the quality is very nice!

I would give these 4 stars, mainly because the sizing chart didn't match my measurements at home. The listed length was off by about half an inch, so if the measurements had been accurate, I would have known to order a size 7 instead of my usual 7½.

Even with the sizing issue, I still plan to wear them because they are just precious and have such a cute, versatile style!

My wife was looking for a pair of Mary Jane's to wear to and from the office on dry days. She does not have a long walk from the parking garage, and thought these would be a good compromise of cost and application. And sure enough, these fit her bill just fine. The footbed is comfortable and supportive enough for short walks, and the shoes are open and comfortable enough to wear for long days in the office. She notes she would obviously not be interested in wearing these in heavy precipitation events, or for long walks due to the not terribly supportive construction, however for her specific application this really does check all the boxes. It runs true to size, and has a solid value of price and performance, so she can give this five stars.

I picked these Mary Janes up for me to wear to church when I wear slacks or need black shoes with one of my dresses. They are super soft and pliable and did not dig in to the back of my ankle in any way. I had no blisters from wearing them. They were super comfortable which surprised me because I was not expecting that on the first day wearing them. They fit true to size and after a full day on my feet they didn't feel too tight or anything, so my feet didn't swell. They have a cute strap across the top that I think is more decorative than functional, but maybe it helps keep them on your feet. I like these because they are flats so no having to deal with the pain of heels. They work great with almost all of my outfits and I am very pleased with them.

The FITORY Mary Jane Women's Non-Slip Ballet Flats are as described; very bendable ballet flats with minimal cushioning and no arch support. They are light weight. I found the shoes to be a bit shorter than I am accustomed, as I ordered my normal Women's size 10, yet my toes touch the front end of both shoes. The length will limit the period of time I can wear them. The shoes achieve the innocent, simple look, including the cross over strap and modest buckle.

I have a narrow foot with a low instep (instep is the vertical distance from the top of your foot down to the sole). Because of this, I have a difficult time finding shoes that fit me. But these Fitory Mary Jane's fit me surprisingly well. I didn't even have to poke additional holes in the straps- which I almost always have to do. I got the leopard print, which I like, but I was not prepared for the texture- they're not suede or even faux suede. They're covered with a sort of coarse fake fur type of material. It was a little off putting at first, but I'm getting used to them. I think they'll look super cute with jeans in the fall. I think they'd also be versatile enough to be paired with some cute skirts as well. I think that the price of these mary janes is great considering the great quality of them.
