These boots are an interesting mix of hits and misses. Of the many, many boots I've tried on in the last two months, these are by far the most skinny in the shaft. I can still zip them up and wear them, but for anyone either wide or even slightly wide calves, these might not be a good fit.
And the look of it is pretty cool, but the ankle is pretty skinny, too. So even though I can wear them, I have absolutely zero room for anything thicker than a stocking to wear up the shaft, and probably only some no show socks on my feet. The fit is surprisingly tight, especially considering that I sized up to an 11 because there was no 10.5.
While I'm being picky, I'll mention that I was sweating after only a short while wearing them. I was indoors with the a/c going, so I'm not confident that these are comfortable temperature-wise either.
I do like the color, and my favorite part is the chunky sole. It's almost completely rigid, which is exactly what I need to wear. I know that some people do not like to wear shoes that have no flex at the bottom, so for those folks, I'd say these are a no as well.
There is plenty of room in the squared toe, and it looks good, too. I think that the pu leather looks and feels a bit cheap. There is a significant slouch at the ankle that didn't straighten out after 24 hours after boot shapers in them. I'm okay with a slouch, but the description pictures make the legs look very sleek.
So - not for anyone who sometimes has problems with calf size, a bit cheap looking on the material. But the heel and sole are among the most rigid I could find this season, so that's a win for me. Other reviews are glowing, so maybe my experience is the exception. They're just okay overall, but I'll still be wearing them.
