Mellow | Square Toe Mary Jane Flats

I didn't have huge expectations for these shoes, but was pleasantly surprised! I wear an 8 usually, and ordered an 8 and they fit well, if not slightly large. Not so large that I need to go down a size, but I did find myself wishing they were slightly smaller. The "velvet" isn't great quality, and I imagine after a few wears it will have some bald spots, but for a special occasion I think these will be great. I wore these to the office, I work on a large corporate campus and walk a LOT in a work day, these remained comfortable all day. These do make your feet look larger than they are because of the weird trim at the toebox, but I don't mind that.

These are really cute but they seem a little thrown together. I'm not sure if that's how they are meant to be but they don't feel like they would last too long. Very delicate. Otherwise they are really cute and very comfortable. They are at least lightweight as well. They fit me just fine and I got my normal shoe size.

I was hoping for a better quality though. The velvet could benefit from structure, especially around the heel, as they creased right away as I trued them on and walked in the room.
They will make a great in house shoes but I wouldn't wear them out.

I'm a sucker for velvet, and I love a comfy flat. These caught my eye the moment I saw them. The green velvet is a rich emerald color, so pretty! The ballet / Mary Jane style is cute and unexpected in this material. I usually wear a size 9, which is what I got, and they fit like a glove. The sole is forgiving and is comfortable to walk around in. I'm not planning on walking miles in these, but I'm glad I can comfortably wear these running errands or to an event and not worry about foot pain or blisters. They're incredibly lightweight and flex with you, and the bottom is textured to provide some anti-slip protection. The square toe gives me more of a vintage vibe than ballet class, which I love. It was hard to choose just one color; the coffee and the red velvet are also adorable.

My daughter chose these and liked the shape and style. She is happy with them in person, too. I personally think they have somewhat of a colonial/historical feel. They are very flat, low support, and low traction. Just be prepared for that. They are a nice matte black, and will be a versatile addition, as they can work with dresses or pants.

My wife is always on the lookout for comfortable flats that she can wear to conventions. From the initial test runs she's pretty happy with them. The square toe gives her toes more room than the usual pointed styles, and the little bow on the elastic strap is a cute detail that also keeps the shoes from sliding off her heel.

She says they are surprisingly lightweight and flexible. The soles feel cushiony underfoot, and after a short break-in period they became comfortable enough for work, everyday errands, or dressing them up a bit. The material is soft and looks polished, and the bottoms have good grip so she's not slipping around.

They felt a little stiff at first and needed a few wears to mold to her feet. There's not much arch support, so they're best for regular daily use rather than long walks. She found the sizing pretty accurate but went with her usual size and they fit well once broken in.

Narrow and run slightly small. I wear a 7.5. I can get into these, however I would probably order a 1/2 size up next time.

That aside, I'm in love with these. I'm a shoe person and I can never have too many shoes. I have no problem with Imelda Marcos' shoe hobby.

These shoes add rich, deep, color and a touch of class to my current collection. The color, style and material all make these shoes some of my new favorites.

The green velvet has a rich, luxurious feel. They look of royalty. The shape is different than most ballerina style shoes, which appeals to me.
The inner sole has cushion for all day into night comfort. The heel is soft and supple.

And a feature, of ballet shoes, is the sound that they make. That pat-pat-a-pat sound across the stage. Music to my ears. The bottom sole is textured rubber. It's solid, yet flexible. Resists slipping and does not mark surfaces.

As for sustainability, Orr durability—these are more delicate shoes. Not to be used for rugged excursions. However, given regular normal wear, these will definitely last.

FYI: The elastic sides, front strap and bow do not untie. The elastic allows the strap to expand when sliding the foot into the shoe. It's comfortable. There plenty of stretch, even for high arched people like me.

So what will I pair these with ? Anything—any fashion. These shoes are versatile and go with so many styles. Especially long, skirts. Jeans look great and dressier slacks as well.

These are very comfortable flats. Ive never owned shoes quite like these. They feel more like a ballet slipper than they do a flat shoe. The sides are soft with no rigid structure which not only makes them very comfortable but also prevent blisters that regular flast cause from rubbing your achelis heel or sides of your feet. The look is very chic and luxurious. My only concern about these shoes is the fact that there is a ton little chip in the imitation leather. It is not noticeable and extremely small but would not want it to happen on a more visible portion. The stitching is sturdy. Because they are a leather imitation material, they are not breathable but they are lightweight. The soles of the shoes have a nice texture that makes them quite grippy which I love. I usually wear a 9.5 but got a 10 in these and its very comfortable. I might recommend sizing up a half size.

The slip-on ballet flats come in 5 colors and 8 sizes from a size 6 to a size 11. I ordered black in an 8.5. The shoes have Faux leather uppers and Rubber soles. The shoes are very stylish with square toes and a strap across the top of the foot. The strap presents a decorative bow that does not untie; it has an elastic piece only on the the inside of the shoe. I liked that the attractive strap on top of the foot keeps me from walking out of the shoes. I do think due to the square toes, they run a little small. I would advise going up a half size. I also did not find the insoles very comfortable, with basically no arch support.

Honestly very surprised by these FITORY ballet flats. Ballet flats are notorious for being uncomfortable. These, shockingly, were not! I do believe the fabric being a soft velvet has a lot to do with it. I wore these fresh out of the box to a summer fair—a perfect recipe for disaster, and I have a long history of new shoes destroying my heels. I had no problems whatsoever walking around all day in the heat and humidity in these. My feet never felt sweaty or hurt. There is admittedly little cushioning in the soles, but I never felt like I was walking around on concrete, and nothing ever rubbed my feet uncomfortably. I’d say my feet run slightly on the wider side, and these shoes fit me fine, but if you have true wide feet, these would probably be too narrow. I got my actual size, and the shoes are just slightly too long. I wish they were a quarter size smaller, as I’m unsure if sizing down a half size would make them too small. The back of the heel also folds down, making it easier to pull the shoes on, and you could also wear these as slides.

Looks wise, they are very cute. I like the square toe—really makes it feel more like a ballet slipper. I don’t typically go for velvet shoes, but the rich green color in velvet is quite pretty. I wasn’t as crazy about the bow detail, but I’ve grown to like it, and it does help in keeping the shoe on. Did I mention they are soft?? It makes me wonder about the longevity, but I think they’ll last a good while as long as you treat them well.

The inner princess in me loves these soft, fun crimson flats. They are just so festive and pretty. The fit is flat but comfortable, with the square toes and soft ties. The ties have elastic. The velvet is more durable than it looks. The soles are normal. They are adorable. I will be wearing them to every party this coming season.

I don't wear shoes often, and when I do, it's usually something very unrestrictive, like Crocs or UGGs. I ordered these because I do occasionally leave the house, though, and I wanted something cuter than my sneakers for the few days a year I do have to work in the office. These are just as cute in person, and I like that the bow isn't something you have to tie and untie yourself, and that it's attached to a bit of elastic to making getting them on and off easier. They did feel a tad snug in my usual size 8, but they didn't cause any blisters or anything in the couple of hours I wore them around the house. They seem to be good quality, and I like that they have a nice, squishy insole. The velvet exterior looks very elegant, as well. Overall, I'm happy with them, but I worry that if I were to wear them longer they might cause more discomfort. It will be a while before I will know for sure, but I'd say if your feet are like mine and are used to being free, size up half a size. I'll reiterate that they weren't exactly uncomfortably tight, they just felt restrictive, and that could be because my feet aren't used to wearing real shoes. Not knocking any stars because of that likelihood.

i knew that i would want to add cushioned insoles, that i already ordered from amazon. however, the shoes i received run small for its size. they are a bit too tight, and i could not use the insoles as planned.
the upper material is vegan leather. according to marketing, it is breathable synthetic leather that keeps feet dry. the material is soft, but it is nowhere as breathable as genuine leather.
as much as i liked the trendy design of the flats, i did not find them comfortable for everyday wear.
